Slotted Pole Digital Television Antennas
NEWFAB, has developed a unique combination of specialized processes and equipment to provide a cost effective solution for manufacturing fabricated pipe assemblies for our digital television antenna customers. These pipe assemblies form the spine of the slotted pole antenna for broadcasting digital TV signals and can be up to 36” in diameter with 2 1/2″ wall thickness and 80′ long.
Slots are cut in the wall of the pipe with the slot size and shape held to tight tolerance requirements.
Thousands of threaded holes are drilled and tapped on a custom designed precision machine, allowing them to be located to required tolerances both axially and circumferentially. The entire assembly is hot dip galvanized to provide corrosion resistance for outdoor installation.
